I’d especially like your thoughts on the clip that starts around 6:50.

If you go back to check, he’s still there, isn't he?

I would have reacted in one of four ways.

1. Drive around him to make my right

2. Laid on the horn for ten seconds

3. Made a U-Turn and went around

4. Just sat there and cursed his family

If you check fossil records of human life several thousand years from now, he will still be there.

Don’t mind me asking, but dash-cam do you have?

There are definitely some places where I refuse to attempt left turns due to traffic volume, whether there is anyone behind me or not. Three minutes is a long time. But I’ll make an exception if cross-traffic is light, (like at 2am).

IF there are no nearby streets that give me a batter chance (like one with a traffic signal to stop the cross-traffic), I’d hang a right, then turn left into a parking lot, and turn right out of that parking lot.

I’m not familiar with that area, but when I see stop signs on BOTH sides of the street, it’s almost always a characteristic of a one-way street. If so, the left-turning driver is blocking traffic by turning from the wrong lane.

However, since I see multiple cars entering, I’m pretty convinced this is a normal two-way street.

I DO MIND!

Just kidding, it’s a Black Box GW1-H. It’s a great little unit, and at $50 it was quite reasonably priced. Only complaint I have is that the fisheye lens screws with depth perception and makes everything look much farther away.

That street I picked was actually one over from the main one with the light, because I figured it would be faster. And I would’ve gotten away with it if it weren’t for that meddling Buick.

It is two-way. Lots of neighborhood streets around here, including mine, have stop signs on both sides for some reason.

I’ve been thinking about buying the G1W-C (well, a pair of them - one for me, one for Mrs. BaconSandwich). They seem pretty unbeatable for the price.

I would recommend it.
